ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1.  Leads day-to-day maintenance tasks on assigned aircraft, equipment, and machinery, as established by the Team Supervisor, PC Supervisor, and Site Manager the Team Supervisor, PC Supervisor, and Site Manager.
  2. Must have an advanced understanding of OOMA and be able to demonstrate in/out of work management, MESM/EOC code management, in-process requirements, parts ordering/receiving/completion procedures, individual work order completion, have knowledge of the Technical Directive Compliance program and be able to demonstrate ISR procedures from initiation, to tracking, to completion.
  3. Must show proficiency in the use of OOMA and RESET’s AMMO program within 90 days after assignment.
  4. This position requires the application of professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufacturer's manuals.
  5. Coordinates and leads the maintenance activities of personnel, as directed by the Team Supervisor, PC Supervisor, and Site Manager, and supports the Team Supervisor in determining and directing specific work assignments for the team and ensuring full and effective employment of assigned personnel.
  6. Ensures all work is scheduled and performed in a safe and efficient manner.
  7. Responsible for compliance of special programs/projects as assigned.
  8. Ensures team members are fully compliant with all approved procedures.
  9. Ensures all team members receive job and safety training.
  10. Identifies material and special tooling needed to accomplish the daily work assignment.
  11. Provides employees with proper training on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), technical training and assistance as needed, and performs other duties as assigned.
  12. High School Diploma or GED required, (A&P License/FAA Certification desired). Prior experience in Phase Crew or Maintenance Control highly desired.
  13. Must have documented completion of corrosion control training.
  14. At least six (6) overall years of experience in the aircraft maintenance environment; of which 4 years of experience will be on CH-53 Type Model Series T/M/S aircraft.
  15. Knowledge of safe working techniques and procedures.
  16. Must have the ability to lead a team of at least 10 to 15 workers in executing scheduled maintenance work requirements, have a working technical knowledge of aircraft, machinery, facilities and equipment, have a detailed knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers, etc.
  17. Must have a strong mechanical aptitude in order to offer technical direction in all maintenance areas and knowledge of supply procedures. Understand technical language terms in a relevant technical field.
  18. The person must have the ability to interact effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.

- Within 90-180 days from hire date, complete all training requirements and required tests for each aircraft certification/qualification, as identified in Table-1 of this document.

- Within 60 days of hire, be scheduled for Phase-1 training and upon completion will have 30 days to complete all Phase-2 requirements and tests, as identified in Table-2 of this document.

Aircraft and GSE certifications/qualifications are daily requirements for all personnel working on RESET aircraft; therefore, each employee will have 90-180 days from hire date to complete all training requirements and required tests for each aircraft certification/qualification, as identified in the below minimum requirements for each job category.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Removes, installs, or modifies aircraft components and engines on test stands and engine test cells as required and trained. 2. Makes appropriate logbook entries and documents own work accomplished. 3. Performs aircraft functional checks. 4. Performs related record maintenance including: completing appropriate log book forms, condition tags and parts requests in accordance with technical publications, Company procedures manuals and other written and oral directives. 5. Uses blueprints, schematics, technical drawings and manufacturers’ drawings and sketches in the performance of assigned duties. 6. May be required to perform Maintenance Operational Checks (MOCs)  

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS & ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be skill qualified in a primary MOS from any of the following OccFlds: 59, Aviation C2 Electronics Maintenance; 60/*****, Aircraft Maintenance; 63/64 Avionics
  • Six (6) years' minimum experience as a Collateral Duty Inspector/Aircraft Mechanic on CH or MH53E.
  • Must be knowledgeable of ANSI/ISO/ASQ Q9001***** quality management systems requirements.
  • Must have and maintain a valid state driver’s license when required by job assignment.
  • Must obtain and maintain the level of Industrial Security Clearance required by the Government. Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for Common Access Card (CAC).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be physically able to perform duties and responsibilities of the classification.

Must be able to work with required materials without debilitating irritation to skin, eyes or respiratory system while wearing the required personal protective equipment.

Work will be located in a hanger and you will need to adapt to the environment.

Must be able to pick up a minimum of 50 lbs. individually from the ground, vehicle or aircraft.
