An exciting opportunity for CFM Engine Technicians has become available in Miami.
Role: CFM Engine Technician
Location: Miami

Our client is looking for a dedicated CFM56 Mechanic to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on CFM56 engines to ensure they meet safety standards and are in optimal operating condition. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in part 145 shops, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for performing duties as directed and assigned. Personnel assigned maintenance functions shall report to the Director of Maintenance and/or team lead and are specifically responsible for:

  • Read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and work scope
  • Assemble and disable engines/modules.
  • Perform aircraft maintenance and repairs, on engine parts/ modules in accordance with the current manufacturer manuals.
  • Maintain work areas, building, and equipment which are utilized for engine maintenance.
  • Utilize all required tools and equipment, used within the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Properly record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications:

  • Power plant license strongly preferred
  • Quantum software experience
  • Able to read, write and speak English as this is an FAA requirement
  • Own basic set of aircraft maintenance tools as needed to perform maintenance functions
  • Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented, and ability to take direction and guidance
  • Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends when required
  • Available for foreign and domestic travel, as needed
  • Able to perform moderately strenuous physical tasks which include bending, stooping, kneeling, and working overhead for prolonged periods
  • An energetic self-starter and a positive attitude who works well in a team environment
  • Diligent, focused, and proactive team member
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
