My client is looking for Avionics technicians with experience on rotary aircraft to join them on a 12 month contract.
Location? - Odiham, Hampshire.
Pay? - £31 per hour inside IR35.
Duration? - 12 Months
Experience wanted? - Avionics experience, experience on CH47 or rotary aircraft is desirable.
Responsibilities -
- Will perform assembly, disassembly, and modification of systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to address failures or implement improvements.
- Will conduct system assembly, disassembly, or overhauls.
- Will configure aerospace vehicles and operate bench test equipment.
- Will be proficient in troubleshooting complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and related electrical systems to diagnose and repair mechanical or electrical issues.
- Will validate and verify system and component testing. Will document procedures and processes to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements (e.g., repair records, test results, modifications, and inspection findings).
- Will collaborate with peers to ensure safe handling of aerospace vehicles and will provide mentoring to colleagues.
- Will work with minimal supervision.
- Ideally, the candidate will have extensive experience working on CH47 aircraft.
