Continuing Airworthiness Planner / Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can work under minimum supervision by fulfilling the role of a Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) Engineer/Planner. The individual will be directly subordinated to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAM). The chosen candidate will assist the CAM in any field of management and supervision of the continuing airworthiness of the client’s aircraft as contractually agreed.

Our client is an independent aviation asset management provider based in Malta.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensuring the monitoring and compliance of airworthiness documentation, modifications, maintenance scope of works and Airworthiness Directives.
  • Development of Maintenance Programs, Reliability Monitoring and other roles related to,but not limited to, the organisation’s CAME.
  • Liaison with the Company Personnel, Contracted Maintenance organisations and logistics suppliers in support of the day-to-day flying program.
  • Evaluation of continuing airworthiness records.
  • Reporting of any findings from continuous airworthiness tasks to the CAM.
  • Reporting of new Maintenance Data to the CAM.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the CAM or, in his/her absence, the nominated deputy.
  • Administration of technical aircraft records.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a continuing airworthiness role in an airline or MRO environment.
  • Knowledge of and ability to use computer office automation software packages.
  • Knowledge of and ability to use planning tools such as CAMP, OASES, AMOS etc.
  • Ideally have worked with Airbus and/or Boeing Aircraft types.
  • Ability to arrive at sound, supportable and independent conclusions concerning the nature of work.
  • Able to set priorities and make decisions.
  • Capable of managing and working as part of a team and being goal-oriented.
  • Interpersonal as well as written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
  • Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally.
EDUCATION 
  • Aeronautical Engineering Degree or equivalent or Part 66 B1 or B2 license holder.
  • Aeronautical / Mechanical Diploma or equivalent.
  • Have completed approved type course(s) on large transport aircraft.
  • Have received formal education with respect to EASA Regulations, in particular Part CAMO.
WORKING TIME

Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, 40 hours per week with one hour break; Ad Hoc / Out-of-Hours work during urgent/unforeseen business requirements may be expected.
