What Will You Be Doing?
The Inflight Operations Coordinator will support the local inflight base operation, flight attendant workgroup and Inflight leadership team by proactively working, resolving and communicating inflight issues related to regular and irregular operations, catering, staffing and re-crewing of flights. The Inflight Operations Coordinator will liaise with other local departments and station operations to ensure efficient daily inflight operations, achievement of company performance metrics and to support crew member inquiries and other matters and will conduct research for daily operational delay meetings and provide follow-up as needed.
Essential Functions
· Support local base operations in day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth inflight performance.
· Resolve and communicate inflight issues to Flight Attendants, Inflight Leadership and other departments as appropriate, regarding regular and irregular flight operations.
· Serve as a liaison and point of contact between flight attendants, Crew Scheduling, Airport Operations and Inflight leadership teams.
· Collaborate with local departments to research and resolve operational issues and flight attendant inquiries.
· Respond to various flight attendant operational needs, including advocacy/resolution to scheduling, catering and irregular operations.
· Conduct research, prepare reports, handle special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned by Inflight leadership team.
· Assist local station operations in administrative duties to achieve company performance metrics.
· Liaise with Corporate Real Estate to maintain local base crew room/operations area and Inflight offices
Other Functions
· Communicate operational metrics and performance goals to Inflight Leadership to ensure appropriate information provided to hold Inflight Services team members accountable.
· Support Inflight leadership in providing administrative coverage and operational support during peak times of Frontier’s operation.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED required.
· Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· 2 to 4 years customer service, operational or other relevant experience required.
· Airline experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Ability to work and communicate effectively with others in a manner that supports teamwork and product delivery.
· Must display professionalism, confidentiality and sound judgment at all times.
· Strong decision-making skills and the ability to think and act quickly, in a fast-paced, operational environment.
· Ability to prioritize operational needs and follow-up as appropriate.
· Ability to interact comfortably with crewmembers, Inflight leaders, Airport Operations team members and business partners.
· Adapt to various work schedules and times, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint with an ability to utilize available technology to create, edit and maintain necessary information and produce specialized reports.
· Demonstrated skills to meet deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
· Strong ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively and work under pressure.
· Strong written and oral communication skills.
