About the Role

As the Deputy CAM/ARC Signatory, you’ll support the Continuing Airworthiness Manager in overseeing CAMO operations and ensuring adherence to Part-CAMO and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will play a critical role in maintaining compliance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Deputy to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager at the Biggin Hill site.
• Oversee continuing airworthiness activities in accordance with the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME) and associated procedures.
• Provide support to CAMO teams across multiple locations.
• Perform airworthiness reviews to support the recommendation, issue, or extension of Airworthiness Review Certificates (ARC).
• Assist in developing and reviewing Aircraft Maintenance Programmes (AMPs), including variations and compliance with Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
• Work collaboratively with operational teams to support fleet management and regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to the preparation of CoA, ECoA, and Permit to Fly applications.
• Support internal and external audits by addressing findings related to your functional areas.
• Ensure CAMO personnel across all sites are suitably qualified and authorized to perform their duties.
• Generate reports and liaise with stakeholders to ensure effective fleet management.

Candidate Profile

Essential Skills & Knowledge

• In-depth knowledge of Part-CAMO, Part 145, and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
• Familiarity with occurrence reporting, MORs, and safety management practices.
• Detail-oriented, methodical, and self-motivated with the ability to lead or collaborate effectively.
• Proficiency with Aerotrac software and other continuing airworthiness tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels.

Desirable Skills & Knowledge

• Hands-on experience with CAMO management software.
• Familiarity with various aircraft types and technical documentation.

Education & Experience

• Essential (UK CAA Requirements):

  • Part 66 Licensed Engineer or an aeronautical degree with at least 5 years’ experience in a continuing airworthiness management environment.
  • Alternatively, 10 years’ experience in a continuing airworthiness management role.
  • Eligibility to act as an ARC Signatory for recommendations, extensions, or issuance of ARCs and CoAs.

• Desirable:

  • Aviation Human Factors training.
  • Recognized training in Part CAMO and Part 145.
  • Familiarity with various aircraft platforms, including Agusta, AW, Bell, and H series models.

Additional Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel as required.
• Eligibility for DBS Security Clearance and SC clearance.
