Director of CAMO - Post Holder

Job Purpose/Description:

The Director and Post Holder of CAMO is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the continuous airworthiness of the company's aircraft fleet in compliance with relevant aviation regulations and standards. Reporting directly to the Company's CEO (Accountable Manager), this role is accountable for the establishment, implementation, and management of all airworthiness-related processes. The Director will lead the CAMO team to maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality, while ensuring operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in aviation, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership position within
• CAMO or similar roles.
• Proven track record of managing airworthiness and maintenance programs for a fleet of aircraft, preferably in commercial or large-scale operations.
• Strong understanding of UAE (GCAA) and European (EASA) regulations, and international airworthiness standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Recognized post-holder qualifications as required by aviation authorities (e.g., GCAA, EASA, FAA Part CAMO Post Holder).
• Additional certifications in aviation safety, quality management systems, or maintenance management (e.g.,
  Safety Management Systems, Quality Assurance, etc.) would be an advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance, parts management, and technical documentation.
• Demonstrated experience with auditing, regulatory inspections, and working with aviation regulatory bodies.
