Qatar Aeronautical Academy (QAA) is a Centre of excellence for Aviation Training in the Middle East, based in Doha, Qatar.

QAA currently delivers approved EASA B1, B2 and A1.1 License, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses as well as ATSEP Ground Avionics courses. QAA also delivers courses in Pilot Training, Air Traffic Control (ATC), Meteorology (MET) and Airport Operations Management (AOM).

QAA invites professionals meeting the following requirements to join the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) Department as Training Manager

Are you in possession of excellent Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Training skills coupled with the following qualification and experience? If so, we think you'd love this role!

  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in relevant engineering field.
  • Holder of EASA Part 66 license will be added advantage.
  • Holder of an Instructor/Practical Assessor/Examiner authorization issued by a competent authority or EASA Part 147 training organization.
  • Holder of release to service (B1.1/B2) authorization granted by an approved Part 145 organization or aircraft components or has been the holder of an authorization to teach and examine issued by a competent authority member of ICAO or a training organization approved by such a competent authority.
  • Holder of EASA Form 4 as Part 147 post holder.
  • At least ten (10) years’ experience working in a technical capacity in an aircraft maintenance environment of which at least five (5) years’ experience must be working in a role in which he/she is authorized to release aircraft to service.
  • At least five (5) years working in a supervisory position in a Part 147 training organization.
  • Minimum 3 years instructional experience with Part 147 Basic Training.
  • Specialized training cover specialized services (i.e. welding, composite repair, NDT) will be added advantage
  • Expert in EASA Part 66 course curriculum design and development.
  • Completed EASA Part 66 Aircraft type rating will be added advantage.
  •  Successfully Completed instructional techniques course or equivalent
  • Excellent organization, communication, computer operations, time management, project management, leadership and team building skills are required.
