Our client is one of the leading aviation providers in Oceania. They are seeking an Embraer E190  Engineering Technical Instructor to join their team.

Position: As an Engineering Technical Instructor, you will deliver critical engineering training courses to staff, partners, and customers, ensuring compliance with safety and procedural standards. You will teach courses on aircraft type theory, practical training, and specialized subjects like Engine Ground Running and Human Factors, among others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver B1/B2 Aircraft Type theory and practical training sessions tailored to specific audiences.
  • Create and teach specialized aircraft engineering courses, including Engine Ground Running, General Familiarization, and other task-oriented training.
  • Provide additional training on topics such as Human Factors, Fuel Tank Safety, and compliance with Part 145 and Part 42 regulations.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the aviation industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with management, staff, and colleagues to support effective collaboration.
  • Ensure adherence to the Corporate Safety Manual, Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) standards, and encourage safety reporting through the Safety Management System (SMS).

Requirements

  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
  • An Embraer E190 B1/B2 license or credits toward it (preferred).
  • Recent experience in engineering training with a strong grasp of CASR Parts 145 and 147.
  • Strong communication and teaching skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience with Embraer E190 and Fokker F70/100 aircraft is highly valued.
  • Teaching experience in both E190 B1 and B2

Terms:

  • Remuneration package: AU$ 140k - AU$ 160K per year
  • Full-time role with a 5-day working per week.
  • Annual Leave: 4 weeks
