Engineering Transform and Digital Manager

Our client, a reputable airline in the Asian Pacific region, is currently looking for an Engineering Transform and Digital Manager to join their team for a permanent position. The airline operates an extensive network of destinations and boasts a diverse fleet of narrow-body and wide-body aircraft. 

Position

The Digital Transformation Manager is responsible for driving the Digital Transformation in Engineering, developing internal digital solutions, and collaboration with Corporate Digital team and selected partners to develop digital services and solutions to support improving Engineering processes and decisions. Championing the intelligent use of digital data and analytics across Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop the Engineering Digital Strategy and Roadmap.
• Deliver insights and analytics to relevant business problems.
• Provide Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge and best practice on Engineering data and analytics tools.
• Expand Engineering digital capability and grow Engineering Digital community.
• Champion Data Analytics self-service community (using Skywise, MS Power Suite and other analytic tools).
• Work with corporate Digital to build and manage an Engineering data model that supports Engineering needs.
• Work with the corporate selected partners to develop Digital Services in the best interests of the company, with a specific focus on Engineering specific information, e.g. Defect Alerting, Diagnostics, Prognostics and Predictive Maintenance.
• Provide Engineering data to support other departments and 3rd party such as MROs.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy of global information.

Requirements

• 10 years’ experience in aviation, aircraft maintenance, engineering and/or IT analytics.
• Degree in Engineering/ Aerospace/ IT Analytics discipline or a proven data analysis role.
• Proven experience in digital management and project management.
• Proven experience in supervising and managing complex cross-functional projects.
• Strong leadership skills, proven ability to manage across departments; OEMs; lessors and suppliers.
• Strong in communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Strong drive for excellence.
• Adaptable and responsive to change, demonstrate ability to drive change,
• Proven ability to drive and manage multi-skilled teams.

Terms

The position of the Digital Transformation Manager carries a basic salary around the equivalent of USD $ 8,900 to $12,000 per month plus a full set of benefits (annual leave, medical insurance, travel benefits, discretionary bonus and profit share).
