Position Summary:  The Supervisor Enhanced Building Maintenance (EBM) Details Team leads a frontline team of AATC professionals that provide support to the overall maintenance program of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.  This support function centers around cosmetic and higher-level janitorial activities that include painting, flooring repair, working at heights, detail janitorial tasks, flooring restoration, equipment repair and general maintenance activities. This team is a critical component to the overall condition of the airport and the impact that has on customer experience. 

The Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining financial discipline and productivity as they apply to overall departmental and company objectives.  The Supervisor will also be responsible for overseeing staffing, training, scheduling, and accountability at all levels of the team. 

Scheduled hours will be centered around 3rd shift primarily with a need to adjust schedules depending on requirements or needs.

Responsibilities:

·  Lead the EBM Team through strong communication, empowerment, and coaching techniques. Includes training, motivation, performance appraisals, and adherence to company policy.

·  Ensure adequate coverage and leadership through the 3rd shift operation, yet also adjust schedules accordingly to cover leadership obligations.

·  Manage and maintain adequate spares inventory to facilitate timely repairs.

·  Improving operational efficiencies and performance through analytics, processes, accountability, and communication with key stakeholders to drive results.

·  Participate in identification, planning, and implementation of initiatives to improve and maintain the condition of the facility.

·  Represent AATC as required, including attendance at assigned meetings, airport functions, and industry events.

·  Assist with budget planning and manage the Enhanced Maintenance Team overall budget.

·  Cross train and develop a functional understanding of other departmental responsibilities.



Qualifications and Requirements:

·  Must have a valid GA driver’s license and driving record void of recent major moving violations.

·  Must be able to pass requirements for approval for an ATL badge with customs seal. This includes a 10-year background search by fingerprint analysis.

·  Minimum of 5 years of experience with running a facility maintenance and/or janitorial organization in a leadership role.

·  Must have a detailed understanding of interior cosmetic repair best practices and techniques required to achieve desired results and train team members to achieve those results.

·  Must have a detailed understanding of floor care products, equipment and techniques required to achieve desired results and train team members to achieve those results.

·  Must have knowledge of facility maintenance systems at a high level and an overall understanding of supporting facilities with a large footprint and complex systems.

·  Advance skills in MS Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, and can clearly present and articulate ideas. Experience with Infor EAM is a plus. 

·  Must be available twenty-four hours per day, seven days a week to provide support during planned or emergency situations or events to include being      physically on site if deemed necessary.
