Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Experienced Site Supplier Quality Specialist to join the Quality Team located in Saint Charles, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

• Supports requirements flow down through review of purchase requisitions
• Reviews supplier audit results and initiates requests for audits when needed
• Supports inspection of product inspection and verification to compliance
• Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work.
• Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.
• Resolves routine issues and concerns.
• Manage Supplier NCR and issues Supplier Corrective Actions
• Perform problem-solving through analysis of metrics to improve supplier performance.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
• More than 3 years of experience in a quality job role
• More than 1 year of experience working directly with suppliers
• More than 3 years of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation
• Experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
• Experience working in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Experience with First Article Inspections (i.e. AS9102)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Experience interfacing and presenting to senior and executive leadership
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment
• Experience with regulatory requirements
• Experience reviewing contracts, managing suppliers, and/or experience working with inventory
• Experience with advanced product quality planning (APQP)

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range for experienced level: USD 88,400 –119,600
