Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a First-line Product and Service Quality Manager (Level K)  to join the Skin & Spar Fabrication Quality Team located in Auburn, Washington (Fredrickson) for a variable shift.

The selected candidate will excel in collaborating with wide-ranging business groups and implementing solutions in a dynamic environment through problem-solving and data-driven decision-making. They will demonstrate transformational leadership to engage teams in key initiatives such as Quality Management Systems, Problem Solving, Data Analytics, and Lean Manufacturing, while exhibiting resilience in enhancing established production and quality systems with innovative approaches.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and motivate employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services, and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures, and government regulations

  • Provide education, coaching, and review of Quality Management System

  • Develop and maintain relationships, partnerships, and communication with customers, collaborators, peers, partners, suppliers, and team

  • Develop and implement business plans, policies, and procedures and develop organizational and technical strategies to improve performance

  • Acquire and manage resources and leads process improvements

  • Make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry

  • 3+ years of experience with organizational and team building skills performed in a cross-functional environment

  • 3+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems

  • 1+ years of experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams (This includes managing team assignments, tracking status and developing a team’s talent)

  • Must be willing to work any shift based on the needs of the operation

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal setting

  • Experience working in a production setting

  • Experience interacting with Regulatory Agencies

  • Experience using Lean principles

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range: $115,600 - $156,400
