The Operations Control Centre (OCC) keep continuously the control and overview of all flight operations in the company.
Main duties are:
Feasibility study of a flight in accordance with flight rules, aircraft performance limitation, weather limitation, notams
Flight plan preparation
Duty time limitations for crew as per current rules
Obtain all permission required by the flight
Prepare the ATC flight plan
Perform the flight following
Provide crew transportation
Provide crew hotel accommodation
Requirements
Minimum age of
25 years
Functional knowledge of the English language
Medical fitness for duty
A
minimum
educational
level
of
successful
completion
of
high
school
(qualified
technician
in
aeronautics
is
a
preferential
educational
qualification).
Preferential knowledge or experience are:
Satisfactorily already completed a formal training course as Flight Operations Officer or Flight Dispatcher in accordance with ICAO doc. 7192-D3; or
A minimum, one year of experience as an assistant in the operational control of air transport flights; or
minimum, two years of experience in a typical function of an Operations Control Centre; or
holds valid theoretical Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL-A) or Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL-A); or
has, as a minimum, a total of two years service in any of the following:
meteorologist in an organization dispatching aircraft;
air traffic controller; or
will be recognised as having suitable aviation experience in order to access to a reduced training programme.
