CHIEF FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR

Qatar Aeronautical Academy (QAA) is a Centre of excellence for Aviation Training in the Middle East, based in Doha, Qatar.

QAA currently delivers approved EASA B1, B2 and A1.1 License, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses as well as ATSEP Ground Avionics courses. QAA also delivers courses in Pilot Training, Air Traffic Control (ATC), Meteorology (MET) and Airport Operations Management (AOM).

QAA invites professionals meeting the following requirements to join the Pilot Training Division as Chief Flight Instructor.

Are you in possession of following qualification and experience? If so, we think you'd love this role!

The minimum qualifications and work experience required:

• Holds bachelor’s degree or diploma in aviation related field.
• Hold a valid ICAO/FAA/EASA ATPL or CPL with a valid IR(A) and unrestricted FI (A) 
• Hold an instructor certificate with the privilege to instruct ATPL course
• Must be a holder of valid medical - class I certificate.
• Minimum of 2000 hours of pilot in command total flying hours.
• Minimum of 1000 hours total flight time as a flight instructor.
• At least 70 hours of instrument flight time.
• Minimum 300 Hours of instrument instruction time.
• At least 10 years of aviation experience out of which minimum of 3 years in managerial position.
• Hold an ICAO Level 4 (or higher) certificate of aviation language competency in English
• Experience in MPL training, Diamond Aircraft and G1000 would be an added advantage.
• Excellent organization, communication, computer operations, leadership and team building skills are required.
