What You’ll Do:

You will be responsible for operating the telemetry room during flight test and and ensuring proper management of the data collected during flight test.

  • Install, configure, test, and calibrate telemetry hardware such as transmitters, receivers, and antennas
  • Maintain and troubleshoot telemetry room  hardware and software
  • Monitor telemetry streams, perform quality control on data, and identify and resolve issues during flight test operations
  • Ensure proper migration of flight test data
  • Import data sets for telemetry room playback
  • Maintain configuration of IADS analysis windows for testing
  • Assist in monitoring for parameter exceedances during flight

What You Need:

  • 3+ years of experience with System and Network administration 
  • Bachelors  degree in Computer Science, RF Engineering,  or equivalent 
  • Knowledge of the relevant telemetry data source (i.e. IRIG CH10) and troubleshooting multicast and broadcast data
  • Can be a dynamic problem solver 
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative attitude and a meticulous attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Curtiss Wright IADS 

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Understanding of aircraft instrumentation
