For our Italian office located in Trescore Balneario (Bergamo), we are looking for a new Air Freight Forwarder.

Responsibilities:

·         Establishment and development of air freight services - both import and export;

·         Processing of requests, organization and control of the whole process of air freight transportation;

·         Communication with the real Customer concerning the organization and management of international cargo transportation (air freight);

·         Communication with the transport Suppliers, clarification of transportation details;

·         Making quotes under all the requests and Order Releases when Ordered;

·         Creation of transport orders in internal company systems;

·         Participation in tender preparations if needed;

·         Identify new market opportunities and devising innovative approaches to increase airfreight volume and profitability;

·         Help to sales team to identify market needs;

·         Monitoring market trends and analyzing the competitive landscape.

Skills/Qualifications:

·         5+ years of proven experience with air freight transportation within the freight forwarding industry;

·         Experience with the organization of "door to door" air freight transportation service;

·         Experience with the direct communication with the Customer and transport Suppliers;

·         High level of writing and speaking English;

·         Broadminded, out of the box thinking and ability to find nonstandard solutions;

·         Demonstrated success in biz development.
