Basic Qualifications:

Principal:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 9 years of aviation experience; or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 5 years of aviation experience; or Master's Degree and 3 years of related aviation experience.

• Qualified Global Hawk Instructor Pilot.

• FAA Commercial Pilot or ATP Certificate.

• Single Engine Land privileges with Instrument Rating.

• Minimum of 500 flight hours as a pilot-in-command of a manned aircraft. 

• Current Class II or higher FAA medical certificate.

• Current Secret Clearance required.

Sr Principal:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 13 years of aviation experience; or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 9 years of aviation experience; or Master's Degree and 7 years of related aviation experience.

• Qualified Global Hawk Instructor Pilot.

• FAA Commercial Pilot or ATP Certificate.

• Single Engine Land privileges with Instrument Rating.

• Minimum of 500 flight hours as a pilot-in-command of a manned aircraft. 

• Current Class II or higher FAA medical certificate.

• Current Secret Clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications Principal / Sr Principal:

• Current Global Hawk Instructor Pilot.

Salary Range: $107,300.00 - $160,900.00Salary Range 2: $133,000.00 - $199,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
