GSE Technician - LGW Airport 

£45,000 - £60,000

Shifts: 4on 4off(Days & Nights) OR M-F (Days)

Job Summary:
My client is a leading provider of innovative customer-focused solutions in materials handling equipment, mechanical services and fleet management. They provide impartial advice to enable customers to maximise the effectiveness of their industrial equipment fleet, through either long-term hire contracts or servicing and repair arrangements. In addition to providing all types of forklift trucks, from powered pallet trucks to wire-guided systems, hires and maintains a wide range of industrial equipment such as sweepers, mobile plants, and lorry loader cranes.

About the role: 

By combining expertise in hiring and mobile servicing of equipment with the expertise in GSE of the former American Airlines team, GSE is able to offer a comprehensive service across a number of UK airports, offering long-term rental of a comprehensive range of aviation ground support equipment.
Your key responsibilities will include:• Servicing, maintenance, and repair of GSE Equipment• Complete all paperwork to a high standard• Providing a best-in-class customer experience for our business customers• Comply with H+S Legislation• Liaise with internal customers• Assist in carrying out all vehicle mechanical and electrical PPM (Planned and• Preventative Maintenance) in line with set schedules.

• HGV mechanical experience.
  2 years minimum HGV/LGV maintenance
• Previous GSE experience (Not Essential) 
• 5 years checkable work history in order to obtain an airside pass
• NVQ Level 3 / motor mechanics Engineering City & Guilds
• Must successfully complete a CRC check• Ability to obtain a GSAT certificate (General security awareness training) in-house training course.
