Our client, a world-class airline in the Asian Pacific region, is currently recruiting Head of Integrated Operations Centre to join the airline as a permanent employee. The airline operates an extensive network of destinations and boasts a diverse fleet of narrow-body and wide-body aircraft.
Position
Head of Integrated Operations – This role is to expertly manage and coordinate the cross functional teams responsible for all aspects of our client’s operation ensuring the safe, efficient, and on-time movement of aircraft, crew, and customers even in the face of unforeseen disruptions and challenges.
In this role, you will lead operational, tactical planning and product teams.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate operations delivery to achieve high performance targets across multiple dimensions including schedule reliability, customer satisfaction, sustainability and cost efficiency while balancing all relevant operational and commercial constraints
- Lead and encourage reporting of any hazards, threats to the operations.
- Ensure the tail assignment process and schedule management by the Tactical Planning team is efficient, coordinated and optimised
- Ensure the day-of-operations team have the necessary skills, training, and systems to deliver operational excellence and high performance and are supported to achieve their goals
- Drive continuous process and system innovative initiatives through proactive use of advanced data analytics, automation, and AI Champion business agility and flexibility to provide the right set of tools to meet our teams’ needs to run data-driven operations, as well as to drive operational and business improvement via engagement with internal and external stakeholders on the latest innovative technology trends
- Support senior management with the delivery of the IOC strategy, vision and mission statements and chair Irregular Operations Meetings (IROPS) when required and represent IOC in the Crisis Response Centre, internal and external audits
Requirements
- University degree holder with minimum of 10 years leadership experience in airlines, preferably in an operations delivery environment
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of airline operating environments including but not limited to operations control, crewing, flight dispatch, engineering, customer services and cargo
- Excellent understanding of airline operations systems and technology landscapes
- Strong process review and change management/adoption skills
- Excellent leadership and people management skills supported by strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to make timely decisions in a dynamic, complex and high-pressure environment
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills
Terms
The position of Head of Integrated Operations Centre carries an attractive base pay per month plus:
- Monthly allowance equivalent $3,100 USD
- Travel benefits
- Insurance
- Annual discretionary bonus (target one month of base salary)
- Annual discretionary profit shares (also paid in cash and target one month of base salary
- Annual discretionary performance bonus (target one month of base salary)
- Monthly Pfund cashback (5% of monthly base salary) if the employee chooses Airline’s Pfund scheme 5% plan (no mandatory contribution)
