The Inflight Operations Manager oversees day-to-day inflight logistics, crew scheduling, and team support to ensure a consistent, high-quality client and crew experience. This hybrid role requires a proactive, tech-savvy leader with strong communication skills and the ability to manage a diverse team while driving operational efficiency and service excellence. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage daily scheduling, logistics, and operational support for FAs and inflight team members
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding and ensure system readiness for new hires
  • Oversee catering coordination, inventory control, and vendor communication
  • Approve team expenses and monitor operational spending
  • Provide first-line support for HR matters, performance issues, and team development
  • Collaborate with Senior FAs on training needs and service coaching
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain service quality across all flights
  • Communicate updates, reports, and operational solutions to the Director of Inflight Services
  • Conduct FA performance evaluations
  • Travel as needed for meetings, events, and aircraft support
  • Oversee East Coast stock locations and owner accounts
  • Adapt to evolving priorities by performing additional tasks or projects as needed to support team and organizational goals 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of inflight or aviation operations experience, including diverse team management
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Technologically proficient and comfortable with digital systems and tools
  • Solutions-focused, adaptable, and able to work with diverse, multi-generational teams
  • Experience managing scheduling, expenses, and vendor relationships
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations and inflight safety standards (preferred)
  • Flexible and available for travel as operationally required 

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Hospitality, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • 3–5 years of experience in inflight operations or aviation services
  • Minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Proven experience managing teams, operations, and service logistics Physical Requirements (if applicable)
  • The combination of physical activities that are required may vary from day to day, depending upon tasks :
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Use force up to 25 lbs. to lift, push, or pull objects
