OBJECTIVE:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Instructor (AW139 Mechanical Maintenance) to join our training team. The instructor will be responsible for delivering comprehensive mechanical systems maintenance trainings on the AW139 helicopter. This role involves classroom instruction, hands-on practical training, and the development of training materials to ensure maintenance personnel acquire the necessary technical skills to safely and efficiently maintain the AW139.

Job Description:

    • Instruction and Training Delivery:
      • Conduct classroom and practical training sessions on the mechanical systems of the AW139 helicopter.
      • Ensure training content aligns with regulatory and organizational standards.
      • Provide real-world troubleshooting and maintenance scenarios to enhance learning.
    • Curriculum Development and Maintenance:
      • Develop and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and assessments.
      • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content is current and reflects the latest technical updates.
    • Assessment and Evaluation:
      • Evaluate trainees' performance through written exams, practical assessments, and simulations.
      • Provide constructive feedback and additional support where necessary to ensure comprehension and competency.
    • Compliance and Standards:
      • Ensure all training activities comply with aviation regulatory requirements (e.g., EASA, FAA, or local authorities).
      • Maintain thorough documentation of training records for audit and compliance purposes.
    • Equipment and Facility Management:
      • Maintain and manage training aids, tools, and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
      • Assist in the procurement of new training materials as necessary.
    • Continuous Improvement:
      • Stay updated on industry developments, including technical advancements on the AW139 platform.
      • Participate in professional development and recommend improvements to training methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Education and Certification:
    • Degree or certification in Aeronautical/ Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
    • Must be a B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with type rating on the AW139.
    • Instructional techniques /‘Train-the-Trainer’ certificate and/or acceptance/ approval/certification by a civilian/military agency/organization.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in AW139 Mechanical Systems Maintenance, including at least 3-4 years of previous experience as an instructor delivering Trainings on AW139 Platform is mandatory.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • In-depth knowledge of AW139 mechanical systems, including airframe, hydraulics, landing gear, and associated components.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.
    • Proficiency in using training software and simulation tools.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
