Instructor/Assistant/Associate Professor

Job Summary
Tuskegee University’s Aviation Science Program seeks a dedicated and experienced aviation educator to serve as an Associate/Assistant Professor/Instructor. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching ground school courses and other aviation-related subjects, contributing to the development of future aviators and aviation professionals.

Preferred Qualifications
Earned MS (for instructor/assistant professor), PhD (for associate professor) in Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Science, Business, Education or other area appropriate to the courses to be taught. Active CFI , CFII , or Advanced Ground Instructor FAA certifications At least one year of teaching experience of aviation courses including Private, Instrument, and Commercial ground school at a Part 141/61flight school. Preferred Qualifications: Industry experience as a commercial pilot, airline transport pilot ( ATP ), or related aviation field. Experience in curriculum development and accreditation processes. Two years or more of teaching experience of aviation courses including Private, Instrument, and Commercial ground school at a Part 141/61flight school.
