Job Title: Interior Workshop Technician

Reports to: Lead Engineer 

Salary per annum: € 34,000

Working Hours: 40 hours per week 

Location: Hanger 1, Atlantic Aviation Group, Shannon Airport, Shannon, Co Clare

Duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:


Essential Job Function

  • Compliance with the Atlantic Aviation Group Hangar 1 standards of Safety, Quality & 5S.
  • Compliance with the organisational policies and procedures detailed in the Atlantic Aviation Group MOE and supporting manuals.
  • Maintaining all aircraft and or components for which the Company is responsible, in a serviceable and airworthy condition by performing all maintenance tasks assigned to you.
  • Understanding and reading of CMM’s, AMM’s, Aircraft drawings
  • Carrying out inspection, repair, functioning and adjustment of units which are covered by Upholstery, Seat, Galley, Lavatory, Panels approval.
  • Examples of tasks, but not limited to:
  • Carpet – removal, installation, cutting, carpet serging, following drawings.
  • EPM – Removal installation, follow drawings.
  • NTF – Remove, preparation, installation.
  • Cargo net – Repairs (Sewing)
  • Insulation blankets – Repairs, fabricate, following drawings.
  • Décor – Removal, panel preparation, décor installation
  • Cabin Floor panels – Repair, fabrication, modifications, follow drawings.
  • Cargo sandwich panels, cargo liners, Gillfab panels – Repairs, fabrication. Seal replacements on Airbus panels
  • Interior composite parts – Repairs, modifications
  • Lavatories – Inspection, repair, modifications, part replacements, use of CMM’s
  • Galleys – Inspection, repair, modifications, part replacements, use of CMM’s
  • Pax, Cockpit, Attendant Seats – Disassembly, cleaning, Inspection, repair, modifications, part replacements, re-assembly, use of CMM’s, AMM’s, aircraft drawings etc

Candidate Requirements

  • Hold a valid aircraft standards-based qualification with a minimum of 4 years aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Detail oriented with exceptional time management and multi-tasking ability.
  • Excellent coordinating and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet schedules.

Typical Working Conditions

  • Must satisfy and maintain the required medical standard.
  • Work is performed at the AAG Hangar in Shannon.
  • PPE is provided by AAG, and its use is mandatory in the performance of your work.
  • Must satisfy and maintain airport security requirements.
