Position: Internal Sales                              

Location: Bournemouth or Farnborough (Hybrid working option available)

Working Hours: Full-Time, 40 Hours per week

We have an exciting position of Internal Sales to join our Rest of World MRO Strategic Business Unit in Bournemouth. Working within the dynamic MRO Sales Team within our aircraft maintenance organisation, this role will report directly to the Head of Sales MRO. You will be responsible for lead generation, prospect data, and the provision of timely sales proposals. The role will also involve liaising with different internal departments to ensure all quotes presented are accurate and clear.


The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of aircraft maintenance checks, quoting, and prospecting. You will need to be a confident face-to-face communicator able to develop positive working relationships with a range of key stakeholders. An understanding of aircraft maintenance manuals and service bulletins would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sales teams with proposals and bids for new maintenance inputs
  • Assist with the creation of an automated quoting system for common maintenance inputs across different OEM makes and models
  • Take responsibility for the accuracy of all quotes and proposals being put together in conjunction with the Planning team
  • Work closely with the commercial teams and Senior Management to understand market information, trends & changes, and requirements for lead generation
  • Researching and completing any ad-hoc project work as directed by the Head of Sales
  • Developing and upkeeping of all databases used for sales and quoting
  • Developing and upkeeping of the Hubspot sales CRM system
  • Assist with collating and correcting data for invoice processing and generation
  • General and technical administration as required
  • Liaising with customers and internal teams during inputs to provide regular updates on the status of work being carried out


Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:


Essential

  • Possess a good working knowledge of raising estimates and generating quotations.
  • The ability to read and understand aircraft maintenance manuals, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, STCs, design and modification documents
  • Excellent communication skills are required for this position with customer facing experience    beneficial
  • A good standard of English and Maths
  • Attentive to detail with the ability to sustain thoroughness and accuracy
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Experience in CRM software such as Hubspot

Advantageous

  • Raising of cost estimates and generating quotations in corporate aviation
  • Have experience of working in a manufacturing, workshop, or engineering environment, with preference given to candidates from within the aviation/aerospace industry ideally with Bombardier, Textron and/or Embraer experience
  • Recent experience in processing invoicing and billing is an advantage
  • Experience with CAMP/Traxxall/relevant aircraft status reports is an advantage
  • Preference given to candidates from within the aviation/aerospace industry
