Summary

For the “Engineering, Product and Project Quality” department, we are looking for a “Junior Quality Engineer for Radar Projects (f/m/d)” at the Ulm site as soon as possible.

The Project Quality department ensures that the processes are applied effectively in the project and on the product, taking into account the contractual requirements, and that the project-relevant quality tasks are completed efficiently. This ensures that the project and product targets are achieved within the performance, time and cost framework at low risk. The department's employees are assigned to the core project teams of the RADAR divisions throughout the product and project lifecycle. They work closely with the project managers and product managers and are appointed at the start of the planning phase.

Your Tasks

• Collaboration as a quality engineer in project teams including reporting

• Support in process compliance, taking into account contractual requirements and project-relevant tasks

• Planning and execution of quality tasks over the product life cycle

• Contact person for customers and suppliers on project-related quality issues

• Confirmation of product conformity with regard to legal regulations and contractual requirements

• Ensuring the risk-minimised achievement of project goals within the performance, time and cost frameworks

• Participate in test planning, product validation and verification as well as certification of systems, sub-systems and equipment.

Willingness to travel internationally is a prerequisite.

Your Profile

• Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering / communications engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science, industrial engineering or comparable

• Experience in civil and/or military quality management and/or development

• Experience and in-depth knowledge of electronics, hardware and system development, knowledge of SW development advantageous

• Knowledge of risk and requirements management advantageous

• Strong communication skills, assertiveness and ability to reach consensus as well as a high degree of initiative, independence and ability to work in a team

• Very good knowledge of German and English
