Microflite Aviation is an approved Airbus Service Centre located at Moorabbin Airport in Melbourne’s South East. We maintain over twenty helicopters with aircraft consisting of Airbus AS350, EC120, EC130, EC135/H135, BK-117(H145D3) and Bell B212 and B412 Helicopters. These aircraft operate across a broad range of missions including corporate charter, surf lifesaving, aerial work and firefighting.

We are looking for a dedicated professional B1.3 & B2 LAME to join our team in maintaining these complex machines, in our state-of-the-art facility using modern equipment and resources.

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, our ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skills & experience:

• Excellent time management skills

• The ability to work autonomously or part of a team

• Demonstrated ability to work safety and adhering to all safety and compliance procedures

• Highly developed attention to detail

• A desire for continuous improvement and a passion for aviation

• Perform and document all work as per the regulations as required

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and modifications, ensuring that all applicable airworthiness and regulatory requirements are complied with

• Use standard / special tools and operate ground support equipment

• Be available to travel around Victoria or interstate if required

To be successful you will hold the following minimum qualifications in addition to the above:

• CASA Part 66 B1.3 Airframe License with experience on EC120, AS350 and EC130

• 1 Engine rating (Arrius , Arriel preferred, but not essential)

• CASA Part 66 B2 License preferably with Twin Engine Type ratings

Desired qualifications are:

• Minimum of 3 years experience

• Hold a H135 rating or another twin rating (B412/B212)

• Turbomeca Arriel 1 & 2, and Arrius ratings
