Arden White Aerospace and Aviation Recruitment is supporting a well-established airline based out of East Midlands Airport. Known for operating a busy and diverse flying schedule, this organisation places a strong emphasis on operational reliability, safety, and engineering standards. They are now looking for a Line Maintenance Control (LMC) Engineer to help maintain aircraft availability and deliver timely technical solutions to keep their fleet flying smoothly.

This is a hands-on and fast-paced role, where you'll work closely with the Operations Control Centre (OCC), flight crews, and engineering teams to ensure quick, safe, and compliant recovery of aircraft experiencing technical issues during line operations. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support and advice to OCC, Line Engineers, and Flight Crews within Part M requirements

  • Liaising with CAMO/Part M post holders and Maintenance Managers for clarification and guidance

  • Supporting and managing AOG recovery plans and coordinating technical response

  • Controlling and communicating the line maintenance plan including ADDs, service checks, and scheduled inputs

  • Ensuring accurate tracking, planning, and closure of Acceptable Deferred Defects in line with MEL and regulations

  • Assisting engineers with troubleshooting of technical and repetitive defects

  • Ensuring maintenance guidance is followed in compliance with Part M/145 and Aircraft Maintenance Manuals

  • Producing technical status reports and participating in engineering briefings across the business

  • Promoting a culture of safety, compliance, and professional housekeeping at all times

Requirements:

  • Experience on type (e.g. B737, ATR) or similar aircraft types

  • Desirable: EASA B1 and/or B2 Licence or ICAO equivalent

  • Desirable: Valid HF, FTS Level 2, and EWIS certification

Package Summary:

  • Salary: competitive + shift allowance

  • Shift Pattern: 12-hour day and night shifts on a fixed roster (includes 1 working weekend every 6 weeks)

  • Remote Working: Some home-based shifts included in the current roster

  • Permanent, full-time position with a well-respected aviation organisation
