We’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Field Maintenance Administration Supervisor to join our team. This leadership role will support the maintenance department by overseeing administrative functions, managing a small team, and ensuring timely, accurate reporting of key performance metrics. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in maintenance operations, administrative coordination, and team supervision.

The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The salary range for this position is $72,534.00 – $119,681.00. New hires are typically brought into the organization between $80,000.00 and $100,000.00. We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which include but are not limited to:

In this position you can expect to work on site at the Maintenance Center, located at 27500 E 80th Ave., Denver, CO 80249.
Schedule would likely be 8:00AM to 4:30PM, with flexibility; Snow duty schedule is 3:00AM to 3:00PM.
What You’ll Do
We're hiring a Field Maintenance Administration Supervisor to lead the administrative side of our maintenance operations. We are seeking a highly organized professional to support our field crews by managing schedules, reports, materials, and staffing with efficiency and precision. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and relevant experience in maintenance or facilities management.
Specifically, as the Administrative Supervisor of Field Maintenance you will:
Supervise and support the maintenance administrative team
Work closely with the Maintenance Planner to prioritize work and manage workload flow
Track trends and performance data to help improve department efficiency
Prepare visual reports, dashboards, and summaries to share with leadership
Monitor work orders, staffing levels, and budget usage to support planning
Order tools, construction materials, and seasonal supplies (like winter products)
Assist with onboarding new staff when needed
Provide coaching, mentorship, and guidance to administrative team members
Serve as a communication link between your team and upper management
Help resolve day-to-day questions and issues from staff

Required Minimum Qualifications
Education requirement: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.
Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of experience performing a variety of duties in maintenance operations (administrative, technical and/or skilled trades) that aligns with the specific functional area of assignment.
Education/Experience Equivalency: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.
