About the Maintenance Engineer opportunity

My client are a leading supplier of systems to the rail industry.  
As a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for Preventative and Reactive Maintenance of manufacturing equipment, Delivery Quality and Delivery Performance.

Maintenance Engineer Deliverables

• Reducing production machinery downtime
• Adherence to PPM schedule
• Delivery Quality – including inspection regimes e.g. CMM
• Delivery Performance

Maintenance Engineer Person Requirements

• Maintenance experience with Hydraulic Equipment
• Knowledge of Drives, Controls and HMIs
• MIG Welding
• Knowledge of Tooling
• Experienced using measurement equipment e.g. CMM, Verniers, Micrometres

Maintenance Engineer Desirable Requirements

• Ability to use 2D design package e.g. Autocad
• Health & Safety training – ideally IOSH
• HNC or similar in Mechanical Engineering
