Manager (Airport Operations and Aviation Security)
[What the role is]
You will be part of the team that is responsible for the oversight and regulation of airport operations at Changi Airport. You will review, formulate and implement air transport facilitation and aviation security policies in accordance with national legislation and international standards and requirements.
[What you will be working on]
The immediate responsibilities include working with key airport stakeholders to plan, review and enhance the airport operating capacity to support the air travel growth at Changi in the near, mid and long term. This includes working on mid to long term projects to streamline processes, enhance efficiency in resources while ensuring good service levels. You will also be involved in assessing and validating plans as well as inspecting operations at Changi to ensure service expectations are met. Your stakeholders encompass state agencies, airport operator, air operators, aviation industry partners, foreign aviation regulators and international organisations.
[What we are looking for]
Requirements
• Training in any discipline, preferably with relevant experience in airport, airline ground operations and regulatory/policy work
• Specific experience in airport ramp operations is an advantage
• Self-motivated, resourceful, independent and works well with others
• High level of perseverance, “can-do” attitude and ability to work under time pressure
• Strong verbal, written communication and analytical skills with ability to build relationships with stakeholders to influence and drive collaboration.
Note: Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
