Mission

As a Manpower Planner, your role involves efficiently organizing technical staff schedules to meet project timelines.

You'll create rosters, considering all legal aspects (labour law, CLA, …), company requirements (productivity & safety), Human Factors and as well as satisfaction of the technician.

Essentially, you ensure the right people with the right skills are available when needed, making a crucial impact on operational success

Tasks

  • Perform the scheduling of technical staff in accordance with applicable agreements such as labor law and collective labor agreements (CLA), and planned workloads.
  • Follow up on and plan training courses based on factors like technician levels, regulatory requirements (PART 145), supply, and workload.
  • Manage leaves, absenteeism, and related statistics.
  • Plan and manage extra resources, including contractors, internships, and job students, in cooperation with production planning, and maintain records of their performance.
  • Keep the technical staff database up to date.
  • Maintain an overview of actual working hours versus budgeted hours and the scheduled workload.
  • Manage all administration tasks, including badges, presence tracking, and billing system.
  • Support HR in the preparation of wages by providing timely data and documents.

 

Your profile

  • Completed secondary education is required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication with assertiveness and diplomacy
  • Proficiency in basic MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, is expected. Familiarity with SP Expert is considered an additional advantage
  • Fluent in English and knowledge of either Dutch or French
  • Fast learner and able to work and comply with established rules and procedures
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with a high level of accuracy
  • A strong team spirit and able to show flexibility to support operational needs
  • Previous experience in an HR environment or familiarity with manpower rostering/scheduling is advantageous but not mandatory.
