Manufacture Quality Inspector

The Quality Inspector position conducts inspections of customers parts during the manufacturing process and before the parts are shipped to our customers. 

Essentials Functions:

*Ensure that the plated (or other processed) parts meet established quality standards

*Inspect finished parts to ensure that they ...

-match process, chromate, topcoat/dye, wax and other finishing on Traveler (word order)

-Assure that plating thickness are within tolerance specified on the Traveler, when necessary, produce thickness report.  

- Pass go/no-go gauges, when applicable

-Pass tape test when applicable

- Match quantities, weight and number of containers on the Traveler  

* Signoff on Travelers for acceptable parts and when appropriate affix acceptance sticker to containers 

* When rejecting parts, indicate rejections on the Traveler, put reject stick on container and return parts to production line
