We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious Marketing Manager to join our Rest of World MRO Strategic Business Unit in Bournemouth. As the Marketing Manager, this role will be responsible for the planning and execution of the MRO marketing strategy, developing and delivering marketing initiatives, and increasing brand awareness. There will be a lot of opportunities to present new concepts to internal and external teams and to drive brand-awareness, engagement, and lead generation.


The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership in a broad range of marketing techniques, from building awareness, through to demand generation and campaign management for lead nurturing and business growth. You will need to be a confident face-to-face communicator able to develop positive working relationships with a range of key stakeholders.


You will have a great deal of responsibility with endless opportunity for impact and freedom for initiatives, whilst working in a hybrid work environment (three days in, two days out of the office) with opportunities to travel within the UK, Europe and Middle East.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the internal commercial teams with the implementation of the marketing strategy, driving brand awareness, lead generation and business growth through marketing initiatives
  • Take responsibility for RoW MRO’s brand, ensuring the brand is kept relevant and up to date and continues to resonate with our target audiences and ensure all marketing assets align with our branding
  • Work closely with the commercial teams and Senior Management to understand market information, trends and requirements for specific campaigns
  • Deploying successful marketing campaigns from implementation to execution
  • Producing engaging content for internal communications, our websites, email campaigns, sales material and corporate literature
  • Develop written content to drive new initiatives in the business crafting a clear messaging plan, key messages and supporting content which can be used within multiple marketing channels
  • Monitoring and reporting marketing performance on and offline
  • Develop and support multi-channel outbound marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness
  • Take ownership of the social media channels by implementing a social media strategy and ensuring posts are sent out regularly
  • Plan and organise national and international events – from logistics to booth set-up and design
  • Act as a spokesperson, promoting our brand and services at conferences and events around the world
  • Work with internal teams to brief and manage the production of content in different formats such as video, design, digital, ads, guides, emails
  • Design and create engaging and creative digital and print assets for social media, website and marketing campaigns including adverts, graphics, images, infographics and brochures
  • Develop relationships across RoW MRO to ensure an understanding of each area, their goals, and objectives

Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:


Essential

  • Possess a qualification or degree in media, marketing or related field
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Specialist or a similar role
  • Generalist knowledge and ability in all aspects of marketing including copy writing, web development, social media, advertising spend, event planning and design
  • Proven ability to develop and execute effective brand messaging
  • Comfortable with presenting, challenging, sharing ideas, and suggesting new formats and ways of doing things
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work well under challenging time pressures
  • Ability to manage and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Excellent MS Office skills including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Ability to think logically in challenging and diverse situations Strong business acumen and negotiation skills
  • Ability to demonstrate positive energy, a desire to learn and work in collaboration with a team
  • High levels of creativity, energy and initiative

Advantageous

  • Experience working within the aviation industry would be hugely advantageous, but not essential
