Mechanical Designer

Arden White Aerospace and Aviation Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer based in Southampton, Hampshire.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams within the Design Office to produce mechanical design solutions and packages.
• Perform design calculations and simulations to validate mechanical systems and components.
• Manage and execute validation and verification activities
• Liaise with equipment suppliers to address and resolve in-service problems.
• Provide mechanical systems engineering solutions to customer queries
• Supply technical data to the Technical Publications Department

Key skills required:

• Must have previous mechanical design engineering experience
• Ideally have experience working in the Aviation/Aerospace industries
• Must be able to obtain SC Level clearance if successful
