Our team is looking for an MRO Quality Engineer to join them. You will report to the MRO Quality Manager and will have an onsite work structure in Miramar, FL.
To be considered for the MRO Quality Engineer opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
10+ years of Quality experience in a manufacturing Aerospace, Electronics, Quality environment in with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position.
Full knowledge of the regulatory environment Ontic MRO, Inc. operates in i.e., CFR 21, CFR 145, CFR 183, AS9100/AS9110, DFARS, as well as customer and other government requirements.
Advanced problem solving e.g. 8D, A3, Apollo (analyzing, investigating, and following up)
Excellent communication skills (expressing; listening), including complex presentations
Ability to establish effective relationships with the wide spectrum of team members, stakeholders, customers, and licensors
Ability to negotiate, use diplomacy, managing conflict, teaching/consult in quality management and related fields
As a MRO Quality Engineer, you will:
Support, establish, and deploy Quality Management Systems processes, manuals, procedures, and all other guidance materials.
Participate and/or lead in internal and external quality audits.
Provide leadership across all disciplines to ensure that the company maintains a culture of quality and a state of readiness for customer compliance, internal and external audits, and satisfaction of regulatory agency requirements and effective to meet the business needs.
Ensure that policies and procedures necessary for the Quality Management System are effectively implemented and maintained – and collaborates on revision for improvement as needed.
Provide leadership of Source and Receiving Inspection activities, Returned Material Authorization investigations, Material Review Board quality analysis, and inspections to Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul activities.
Be the enforcement of Licensor, Customer, Regulatory, and Government compliance requirements pertaining to product and process.
Support AS9100/AS9110/AS13100 Management review process
Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout Ontic MRO, Inc. and resolve matters pertaining to quality including corrective action plans for product quality.
Maintain and monitor monthly reporting of all relevant Quality assurance KPI’s (e.g. COPQ, Process Turn Around Time)
