Officer, Cargo Services

Responsibilities:

• Assist to revise and maintain manuals related to cargo operations for regulatory compliance of regulatory and the airline:
• Assist to monitor the daily cargo operations locally and overseas in regards of safety and security:
• Assist to follow up with incident investigations related to dangerous goods, safety, and security issues:
• Assist in follow up with cargo related irregularities:
• Assist in procurement of airline stationery and relevant system updating:
• Assist in follow up with training issues which including approval of outports training syllabus:
• Assist in monitor the budget for outports:
• Assist in monitoring ULD operations:
• Work closely with HKC and AAT for smooth cargo operations:
• Assist in coordination and monitoring of cargo operation in outstations:
• Work closely with Corporate Safety Department to ensure cargo operations compliance:
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in air industry preferably with airlines, ground handling agents or cargo terminals
• Tertiary Education or Bachelor’s degree holder
• Knowledge in Dangerous Goods Regulations;
• Knowledge in Cargo Security Program (e.g. Regulated Agent Regime at HKG)
• Good command of spoken and written English. Spoken and written Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).              
•  Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal with the ability to interact with people at all levels and in a multi-cultural working environment.
• Sound PC knowledge in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
• A good team player with self-initiative and ability to work independently and under pressure
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
• Good Leadership skills and able to lead the team to achieve company goals
• Independent, well-organized and detail-minded
