P145 Technical Production Planner

JMC Aviation are working with an MRO company based in Birmingham, looking to recruit a new P145 Technical Production Planner to join their team.

This client is a leading MRO dealing with line and base maintenance as well as interior modifications, fuel systems repair and maintenance for both commercial and military aircraft. The company has been operating for close to 30 years, providing outstanding customer service and encouraging a warm, positive environment to aid employee progression.

This is a Permanent Position based in Birmingham, UK.

The Role

The primary purpose of this role is to perform a detailed review of a customer supplied workscopes and establish the most effective workflow and critical path execution plan for an input. This will include the creation of a daily loading plan of the critical tasks and ensuring all tooling requirements are known.

Other Duties Involve

• Assessing customer supplied work packs to produce a fully engineered work pack including tooling requirements
• Identifying key milestones including parts and tooling for planned maintenance inputs
• Identifying critical and priority inspections and tasks
• Creating an effective critical path execution plan gantt chart
• Identifying third party requirements such as NDT, aircraft reweighs and exterior cleaning
• Creating a daily loading task card plan
• Being the main point of contact for P145 technical production planning
• Advising and supporting Check Managers during maintenance inputs

In order to be successful in this role the P145 Technical Production Planner will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes

• Experience in an MRO/base maintenance environment
• Previous experience as a check/aircraft manager or similar production planning role
• Understanding of Part 145 regulations
• Right to live and work in the UK
