Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Examine and evaluate landing gear components to locate any damage- Read and interpret technical data and blueprints- Utilize various measuring equipment both manual and digital- Use of a computer or other electronic device to record data- Follow instructions per the component maintenance manuals (CMM)- Document work performed- Maintain an organized workspace- May occasionally be required to work overtime including evenings or weekends as necessary to meet deadlinesEducation and Experience:- Must have at least two (2) years of experience working with calipers, bore gauges and micrometers- Minimum of two (2) years of previous mechanical maintenance experience. (Preferred: Previous aircraft technician and landing gear experience will be considered first)- High school diploma or an equivalent- Proficient in the English language; writing, reading and speakingPhysical Requirements: - This position is safety sensitive and adheres to DOT drug and alcohol regulations- Must Successfully complete a comprehensive background check- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.- Stand for extended periods of time- Attention to detail- Basic arithmetic- Coordination- Critical thinking- Manual dexterity- Arm-hand steadiness- Near vision
