To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as a Crew Scheduling Training Supervisor in our Flight Operations Department. The primary responsibility of the position is to develop and maintain crew scheduling training programs. The successful candidate will have training knowledge of Piedmont Operational Control Center (OCC), Operational Control Center Policy and Procedure Manual (OCCPPM), Flight Operations Manual (FOM), and Flight Attendant Manual (FAM). This position will report to the Manager, Airline Crew Scheduling.

Essential Duties:

• Oversee the crew scheduler training process

• Ensure procedures are being complied in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and company procedures

• Develop and maintain crew scheduling training programs (initial & recurrent) to include the following:  regulatory requirements, company policies, and relevant manuals

• Implement new software and processes in crew scheduling

• Ensure all schedulers are current/qualified with all required training

• Coordinate with other departments as required

• Work with the Manager, Crew Scheduling to implement any procedural changes as they relate to the limitations of the CFR and company policy

Job Qualifications and Competencies:

• Knowledge of crew scheduling CFRs and Piedmont Policies

• Training knowledge of Piedmont Operational Control Center (OCC), Operational Control Center Policy and Procedure Manual (OCCPPM), Flight Operations Manual (FOM), and Flight Attendant Manual (FAM)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Previous scheduling experience

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to learn the use of various airline specific computer programs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role

• Teaching or training experience

Work Environment:

• Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment

• All shifts including weekdays, weekends, nights, holidays, and/or irregular shifts

Physical Requirements:

• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
