Permanent UK Manufacturing Manager

Excel Technical Consulting are currently seeking a manufacturing manager for an exciting permanent role based in the south of the UK leading the production department and ensuring effective and efficient running of the day-to-day operations. Successful applicants for this role will have at least 7 years of experience inside an aerospace manufacturing environment with HNC/HND qualifications in mechanical or manufacturing engineering methodologies.

The role will see you carrying out various projects for a variety of fixed wing and rotary aircraft on behalf of globally known clients, this can include working through weekends and public holidays depending on the workload.

Daily responsibilities for this position would include: 

• Supervising and leading a team of production staff,
• Monitoring all manufacturing processes,
• Planning and drawing up the short/long-term manufacturing schedule,
• Monitoring productivity rates and product standards,
• Implementing quality control standards.

For our requirements, we are offering a salary of £55-£65k per year working Monday to Friday with additional benefits such as 33 days holiday per year, company sick pay scheme, and life cover. This is a great chance to join a fantastic group that includes members working on behalf of Excel.
