Position:              Quality Administrator

Locations:           Dripping Springs, TX (Austin, TX area)

Description:      
Expanding avionics company seeks
Quality Administrator who will be responsible for product quality activities as relates to avionics integration kits. Will adhere to the details of inspection standards, methods and procedures used by the PMA Manufacturing Facility while complying with all FAA regulations, manufacturer’s specifications and recommendations. Availability on 2nd shift, which is Sunday - Thursday (3:30 pm - midnight) and 3rd shift which is Thursday - Sunday (7am – 5pm).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Documentation Management: Review, process and organize quality-related documents, including but not limited to Work Order Routers, Assembly Orders, drawings, picklists, IPI inspection records, and compliance documentation.

  • Data Entry and Analysis: Enter quality data into designated databases or systems accurately and in a timely manner. Assist in analyzing quality data to identify trends, patterns, or areas for improvement.

  • Quality Assurance Support: Assist in coordinating quality assurance activities such production document verification, kit roll up, labeling and delivery to the shipping department. Ensure that all relevant documentation and resources are prepared and accessible for these activities.

  • Compliance Monitoring: Help monitor adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. Assist in ensuring that all quality-related production documents are completed and in compliance with industry regulations and standards.

  • Communication and Coordination: Serve as a point of contact for quality-related inquiries from internal stakeholders. Facilitate communication between different departments or teams regarding quality issues or initiatives.

  • Training and Development Support: Help maintain production records and ensure that all production documents are adequately labeled and filed per quality procedures.

  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing quality processes, reducing defects, and optimizing efficiency. Contribute ideas and suggestions for improving quality-related workflows.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Proven experience in an administrative role

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with document management systems.

  • Knowledge of quality management principles and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO standards, FDA regulations) is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across different departments.

Required:

  • Data entry experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must pass background verification, pre-employment drug testing, and submit to company's Drug and Alcohol Abuse Program.
  • Must be legally able to work in USA and supply required supporting documentation.


Flexible Schedules
1st shift - Monday to Friday 7am – 4pm
2nd shift - Monday to Friday 3:30pm – 12am
3rd shift - Monday to Friday 11:30pm – 7:30am

4th shift Saturday & Sunday (12-hour shifts)
