QUALITY ADMINISTRATOR
Summary of Position
The Quality Administrator will ensure and maintain compliance to policies and procedures set forth within the company's Quality Management System (QMS). You must be organized, customer service-oriented and have knowledge of industry standard quality assurance practices.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a minimum, the following is a basic description of typical duties and responsibilities expected of the Quality Administrator. These duties are not exhaustive and are subject to change as the needs of the organization require.
• Responsible for ensuring adherence to processes and procedures as set forth within the QMS.
• Responsible for reporting and analysis activities relative to QMS metrics and initiatives.
• Responsible for maintaining relevant documented information.
• Coordinates / Administers QMS training.
• Assists with / Facilitates 3rd party and Customer audits.
• Performs internal audits, excluding processes in which the Quality department is the process owner.
• Responsible for gathering and analyzing nonconformance data within the facility and facilitating root cause corrective action activities in order to reduce variation, errors, and waste.
• Professionally communicate with machine operators, supervisors, programmers, and management regarding process effectiveness; specifically, product conformity, manufacturing / programming errors and improvement opportunities.
• Ensures measurement equipment is properly stored, maintained, calibrated, and appropriately labeled.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma
• Proficiency reading and interpreting industry standards and specifications.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office – specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
• Additional preferred skills / experience
• Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements.
• Experience with AS9100 QMS requirements.
