Quality Engineer (Quality Engineer-General)

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Quality Engineer to join our team in Enfield, CT.

The selected candidate will be required to work 100% onsite at above mentioned location.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for meeting/exceeding customer quality metrics to ensure customer preferred supplier status.
  • Conducts customer quality reviews with customers and internal BDSI organization.
  • Conducts Corrective Actions Board (CAB) with customers.
  • Ensures RCCA meet customer requirements and response time.
  • Lead all on customer scorecards metrics to achieve a 100% rating.
  • Works to address non-conforming events
  • Leads all purge activities and ensure containment is within 48 hours globally.  
  • Works with customer on RMA product and submits documents for MRB approval.
  • Writes quality plans, sampling plans, and inspections plans for customer products.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering or related field of study
  • 2 - 4 years of related work experience
  • Equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience
  • Experience with execution of root cause corrective actions (RCCA)
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
  • Six Sigma certification
  • Previous Aerospace experience

Travel:

This position may require traveling up to 25% of the time.

Summary pay range: $65,000.00 - $92,000.00
