Quality Engineer
Your Opportunity
Join us as a Quality Engineer and play a key role in upholding and enhancing the quality and safety of our operations. In this role, you’ll ensure our products and services meet high-quality standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll conduct safety audits across facilities, tools, and equipment, and support compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines. You'll also lead safety training for technical teams, investigate incidents to identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

- Develops policies, procedures and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and operations across assigned site(s)
- Develops and maintains the quality of products, services, and processes, including standard procedures according to regulations, quality audits/review, process reengineering, etc.
- Maintains strong knowledge of relevant safety regulations
- Implements and oversees Jet Aviation programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities and to ensure that all facilities are in compliance with regulations
- Implements aviation regulations
- Ensures compliance with applicable laws, aviation regulations, and applicable GD and Jet Aviation policies.
- Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network
- Thorough knowledge of quality processes, procedures and concepts in business aviation
- Strong understanding of broader business aviation context
- Initial experience in leading functional/cross-functional initiatives
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills to solve complex issues
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
What will help you succeed:
- Bachelors degree in business, engineering, or related field from an accredited university
- min 3 years of relevant work experience in a quality function
- Holding a valid CAAS, EASA, or FAA A&P license.
- Good influencing skills
- Strong personal values corresponding with Jet Aviation values (Trust, Honesty, Alignment, Transparency)
