Quality Inspector/CMM Operator

With over 3000 STC’d products in service and more entering into service daily, we continue to develop new products and support existing designs worldwide.

We are hiring for a  Quality Inspector/CMM Operator to join our team in beautiful Georgetown, CA. As a Quality Inspector, you will perform dimensional inspections on machined and assembled parts at various stages of the production process, utilizing hand inspection measuring tools, and, the coordinate measuring machines (CMM).

Responsibilities include:

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, first article, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Use tools such as calipers and other measuring instruments to perform QC inspections.
• Identify areas for improvement in the production process.

• 1+ years experience in a manufacturing environment or schooling related to manufacturing QC software
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, planning and procedures in English and have a high level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with inspection measuring tools including: surface plate setups, height gages, micrometers, indicators, calipers, surface roughness testers, hardness tester, pin & thread gages; coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
• Reasonable computer skills.
• Previous work experience in aerospace complying PMA or ISO9001 requirements preferred.
• Experience performing First Article Inspections preferred
