Quality Specialist - dnata Northern Iraq, Erbil

Skills & Experience\: 

· Bachelor’s degree or Diploma holder in a related field

· 3+ years field experience on Airline or Ground Handling Quality and Compliance auditing

· Experience of conducting quality assurance audits

· Implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures

· Proficient knowledge in aviation

· Advanced IT and Computer Literacy Skills

·Effective communication in English both verbal and written.

· ISO (International Standardization Organization), IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) or ISAGO Auditor Training

Job purpose:

·     Reporting to the Managing Director, Erbil, you will be responsible for the implementation of Quality Assurance policies, systems, programs, processes, procedures, and plans throughout the business to drive continuous improvement and ensure that Operations are adequately supervised and controlled.

Accountabilities

Focus on Results:

·       Responsible for effective implementation of the Quality policy and the QMS (Quality Management System) as per the Global Quality framework, standards, & procedures.

·       Assure all policies, processes, procedures within the responsibility are followed, documented, and implemented.

·       Monitor operational activities for adherence to internal and Customer Airlines procedures as well as compliance with relevant Regulatory Authorities requirements.

·       Conduct audits, inspections as part of the monitoring process.

·       Monitor the implementation and completion of corrective and preventive actions.

·       Maintain effective communication and relationships with applicable regulatory and certification bodies as well as customers, on matters concerning compliance.

·       Provide support for second party and third-party audits (Regulatory Authorities, Certification Bodies and Customer Airlines).

·       Produce and amend the Quality documentations.

·       Implement and maintain an effective control process for internal and external documentation.

·       Ensure communication and coordination with operational managers in the management of the operational risk.

·       Communicate the quality results within the company.

·       Follow company procedures related to safety and security.

·       Report deviations from procedures/documented processes, unsafe acts, faulty equipment, and damaged infrastructure.

·       Responsible for performing the document management function in accordance with the procedures outlines, in the Document Management System

·       Provides Document Management System advice and consultancy to employees as and when required.

·       Make suggestions for changes and improvements in the Document Management System, developing a local Document Management System if required.

·       Provide support in adapting dnata Ground Operation Manual (dGOM) and dnata Cargo Operation Manual (dCOM).

·       Manage or delegate the administration of the business detailed audit assurance process and activities to verify the execution of the processes is done as per the set standards and all the available information and records are reviewed.

·       Develop, implement, and oversee corrective actions to rectify gaps and to ensure continuous improvement.

·       Responsible for the health and safety duty of care at the workplace.

·       Ensure to report any hazards, injuries, ill-health or near miss to your supervisor or employer.

·       Cooperate with your employer when they require something to be done for health and safety at the workplace.
