Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), Computer Aided Metrology (CAM) Team seeks a Quality Technician to serve as a Laser Tracker Operator and be responsible for the measurement and qualification of flight articles, tooling, and movement in the factory. You will work with programmers and machinists on compensations for hardware to meet drawing specifications.
The CAMs team supports all areas throughout the factory.
Position Responsibilities:
To meet security standards and protocols, all work is performed onsite in New Orleans, LA.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; domestically depending on business needs.
This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
This position is contingent on clearance verification and customer concurrence.

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
