POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for developing, coordinating and monitoring production flow schedules and planning tools to ensure effective and efficient utilization of production resources.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop and maintain weekly production workload schedule for all shops, as it relates to each individual project.
  2. Provide weekly project input reports to the General Manager.
  3. Open all Major project work orders in MISA. Prepare complete work package prior to aircraft input and review with aircraft team leader. Provide all technical documents necessary to complete the project.
  4. Develop and maintain project flow charts using Microsoft Project software.
  5. Perform technical research as required to support KA-ARK operations and internal/external quoting activities.
  6. Participate in incoming project debrief meetings with customers.
  7. Research and work with Purchasing Manager for requisition of any known required kits/parts prior to aircraft arrival.
  8. Coordinate input schedules with general manager, sales manager and department managers.
  9. Organized, plan and conduct regularly scheduled project meetings.
  10. All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor degree (BA/BS) from a four year college or university or three to five years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE ABILITY:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATH ABILITY:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Word processing, Spreadsheets, Internet software, E-mail, MISA, and Microsoft Program Manager.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

None required.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to travel at relatively short notices for short periods. This position requires the ability to work varied shifts.
