Reservations Agent

Formerly the Holiday Inn Sydney Airport, the evolution to the Crowne Plaza Sydney Airport, now delivers a premium experience for business and leisure travellers alike.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Reservations Agent to join our team full time and be the voice of our brand. Reporting to the Reservations Manager, you will be responsible for managing reservations and bookings for our hotel.

Responsibilities:

• Manage reservations and bookings for guests ensuring accuracy and updating their profiles
• Managing the reservations inbox and phone, responding to guest enquiries in a timely manner
• Drive upselling initiatives through the reservations and front office teams
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure guest satisfaction
• Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions
• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
• Maintain knowledge of hotel and surrounding areas
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed

What we need from you:

• Previous experience in reservations, guest services or sales in a hotel would be preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
• Proficient in Opera (PMS) and experience with loyalty programs preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Eligibility to work full time in Australia
